The Gardens and Plant Nursery are open Tuesday – Friday, 10:00am – 5:00pm
Any click & collect orders outside these hours can be arranged directly with the Nursery
We are closed Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.
Garden Admission:
Adults ticket – £5
Children under 16 – free
Garden Season Pass: £12 and allows unlimited Garden entry throughout the year during normal opening hours including 10% of plant purchases
Frequently Asked Questions
You are not limited to the amount of time you wish to spend in the Gardens, and you may leave and re-enter as many times as you’d like on the same day. A typical visit is approximately 1-2 hours.
You do not need to pre-book a visit to the Gardens, or Plant Nursery, unless you are planning on visiting in a group of 10 or more and would like refreshments.
Entry to the gardens is purchased on arrival at our clearly sign-posted reception, behind the seating area and next to the plant nursery.
Friendly dogs are always welcome at Stonyford as long as they are kept on a short lead at all times.
We operate a self service tea/coffee making facility where wrapped snacks/cakes are also available to be purchased. We have plenty of indoor & outdoor seating areas.
Season Pass Holders: no need to prebook but you will need to show your pass on arrival and ensure you only visit on our opening days.
Free entry for holders of individual RHS partner garden membership, during normal opening hours.
