Local Pick Up (click & collect) Available Monday to Friday 1030am-4.30pm. IMPORTANT – Please specify the date you wish to collect on the pick up option calendar. 

Local Home delivery – £4.50 delivery charge. Free Delivery for orders over £50 (within a 9 mile radius of Stonyford Cottage Nursery- postcode CW8 2TF.)

We use APC overnight couriers for next day deliveries on all orders.  Items that can be sent with 2-3 day delivery may be sent via Hermes.

The courier will deliver between 08.30-18.00hrs.

 

We despatch all plant orders using a next day delivery courier to ensure your plants arrive in great condition. 

All Plants are packaged to a high standard in strong boxes and robust packaging. 

It normally takes 3-5 days (excluding weekends)  from order placement to when your plants are despatched.

We cannot Guarantee this date, due to delays that the courier may encounter during busy periods, poor weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, but we find that over 95% of all orders arrive on the day stated. If you need to arrange a specific date for delivery, please email us after you have placed your order with your preferred date. Standard delivery days are Monday – Friday. If you require a delivery on Saturday, please contact us for a quote.

 PLEASE ENSURE YOU ADD TO YOUR ORDER NOTES WHERE TO LEAVE IN A SAFE PLACE.  They will attempt 1 delivery and if you (customer) are not home, and have no safe place to leave the parcel, a card with courier contact details may be left for you (customer) to contact and arrange for re-delivery.  It is your (customer) responsibility to contact the courier and arrange for a re-delivery which is suitable for you (customer).   If the parcel is returned to us, then you will be charged another delivery charge for a re-deliver.  If you would like your parcels to be ‘left with a neighbour’ or ‘left by back door, etc’ this will be carried out at your own risk and under your instructions provided to us BEFORE despatch.  Notes left on doors, etc at premises for the courier may NOT BE ACCEPTED by the courier unless specific instructions have been relayed to us prior to despatch and appear on the delivery manifest.   Please contact us if you have any questions.

If you are not home when delivery of your parcel has been attempted you can contact the designated courier to arrange for a re-delivery.  You should have received an email from Stonyford Cottage Nursery confirming your order.  The following website URL’s will provide you with the ability to contact the designated courier of your parcel and arrange for a re-delivery – you will need your consignment number and postcode.  The shipment will be held for 5 working days before being returned.

Customer Notice – Change to The Terms and Conditions of Carriage – COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – Effective immediately

*****CUSTOMER NOTICE – There has been a change of conditions of carriage by our couriers, APC, due to the COVID-19 situation.

Effective immediately it is of utmost importance that we protect both the consignees and delivery drivers, the couriers have temporarily relaxed the requirement of carriage – there will be NO CONTACT DELIVERY PRACTICE.

It is suggested that where it is practical, instructions to “leave safe” ie “at back door, porch, in greenhouse, woodstore, etc” Your cooperation with this would be appreciated during this time.  It should also be noted that delivery of parcels may be longer than normal “overnight” as parcels are prioritised.  Courier companies are dealing with a very large volume of items during this situation of COVID-19.
